Concept
Marketers are brilliant, but they are overwhelmed.
Making my design brief simple: craft an antidote to B2B fatigue. The challenge is to interrupt this pattern and prove that Mailchimp sees their unique struggle and offers sophisticated solutions that are intuitive, inspiring, and made special for them.
I designed an emotional transaction: absurd illustrations, an interactive glossary, and mobile-first sections deliver complex tools as unexpected joy. We give marketers clarity and delight. In exchange, they give us their attention and trust.
Strategy
Leading with empathy and delight before asking for anything earns the right to be heard in a landscape where audiences have developed antibodies to typical marketing.

Visual Disruption
I partnered with illustrator Sinelab to make Mailchimp's learning curve a joyride. Each illustration takes a complex marketing tool and makes it memorable.
The style is tactile surrealism, impossible objects, saturated color that feels like joy made visible. Every image is a metaphor that moves: navigation becomes momentum, segmentation becomes celebration, automation becomes flight.

Layout Design
This isn't a prettier brochure. Sections chunk information into digestible bites. The interactive glossary lives where confusion does—inline, instant, unobtrusive. Each element removes friction, building confidence until the CTA stops feeling like a sales move and starts feeling like the obvious next step.
This is architecture designed to earn action, not demand it.
